Winning is hard. 

That’s the story of the San Francisco Giants. Over the last month. Over the last two weeks. And especially over the last 24 hours. 

The All-Star closer is now the first closer in franchise history to blow four saves in a row. 

The newest player went 3 for 44 with his old team—and 3 for 5 in his first game as a Giant. 

The manager used seven pitchers for less than an inning each in a desperate attempt to win a desperately-needed game. 

It was ugly, gut-wrenching, and thrilling.

Because winning is hard. And if only for one day, the Giants won.

Up next: The Giants are off today before linking up with the lowly Braves for a weekend series. Good opportunity to bank some easy wins.
