I'm a new listener and enjoy the pod. I have to share a different take on Casey Schmitt. His improvement at the plate since his call up has been significant. I'm an old man so not a stat guy, but his plate discipline is so much better this season. And I think he will continue the upward trend to some degree. I actually like him as a second baseman. He's no all star, but I think he can do a good job there and add some pop at a position that doesn't traditionally provide much.
I do agree that Koss is a better piece than Fitzgerald. He seems to strike out less than Fitz and to my eye has better baseball sense (which is a shame because Fitz is probably a better athlete)
