After getting swept by the Dodgers to open the second half, the Giants picked themselves up, trudged to the desert and ... got blown out by Arizona.

Oof.

Let's unscrew the cap of the salt shaker, find an open wound, and start pouring.

• The Giants recorded three hits. Two of them were bunts.

• They sent 28 batters to the plate—one over the minimum. Two runners were picked off and another doubled off on a line drive.

• The game unraveled when the club's only two lefty relievers, Jarlín García and Sam Long, took the mound. They're sporting an 8.56 ERA in their last seven games combined.
