The Giants' starting rotation in early April:

The Giants starting rotation on June 23:
Logan Webb
Jordan Hicks
Can you spot the difference? Anything look off?
And when one of those two gets beaten up, like Hicks did Saturday afternoon, losing streaks snowball real quick.
The Giants would tell you that Robbie Ray, Harrison and Snell will be back in a pinch. Alex Cobb and Winn, too. Soon, we're going to have too much pitching.
I would tell you that may be true, but what good are a few extra pitchers when seven teams sit ahead of you in the standings?
The Giants need to win now—not dream of the wins they might get in August. They’ll go as far as their starting pitchers will take them. All two of them.
Up next: The Giants try to avoid the sweep this afternoon in St. Louis. It’ll be Logan Webb (6-5, 2.99 ERA) and Sonny Gray (8-4, 2.95 ERA) at 11:15 a.m.
