You have to be concerned. You can't not be concerned.
The Giants are not scoring. They've been baseball's worst offense for more than two months. And it seems silly to think they'll wake up one day and everything will change.
Maybe you thought yesterday would be the Everything Will Change game, on the heels of Tuesday's 7-0 win. Then came a 6-1 loss.
Their grip on a playoff spot is loose: Three teams are within two games of the Giants. What's worse is an upcoming stretch of 19 games against the Braves, Phillies, Reds, Padres, and Cubs.
It's going to define the Giants' season. And with the way things are going, it's going to derail their season.
But hey, maybe tomorrow is when Everything Will Change. That would make as much sense as anything else that's happened in the last two months.
Up next: The Giants head to Atlanta for three games against the Braves, who don’t lose. It’ll be The Opener against Spencer Strider (13-4, 3.75 ERA) at 4:20 p.m.
