If it were that easy, the Giants would’ve handed out Tony V bobbleheads at Fan Fest.
If it were that easy, Opening Night against the Yankees would’ve come with a three-headed bobble of Rafael Devers, Matt Chapman, and Willy Adames.
If it were that easy, they’d give out reliever bobbleheads every game. Haven’t you always wanted JT Brubaker on your mantle?
It’s not that easy, but Devers made it look that way with two homers on his bobblehead night.
Having a big game on your giveaway day has long been one of my favorite Baseball Things. Saturday night was a bright spot in what’s been a dark week (month? season?) for the Giants.
Still, it’s going to take a lot more bobblehead nights to turn the season around.

Hey man, first off I told my wife - who loves the Giants and baseball (and me!) that I couldn’t wait for y’all to discuss the Trevor McDonald game from a week ago - holy smokes what a freakin’ debacle! Assuming that’s what this podcast will cover based on the title … But, the post-Devers bobble head night - the post game interview on KNBR - I can only assume the Mr. Devers turned down the opportunity to be interviewed, but Mr. Eldridge filled in and, MAN…now I am an old man (pushing 70 I tell my grandkids!) and I’ve watched a lot of sports interviews and Bryce is a true breath of fresh air. Genuine, authentic, humble, humorous, witty, comfortable - an undeniable PRO. He and some of the other “kids” we’ve seen this year have made it fun to watch again - ya, we’re losing more than we’re winning and that’s a bummer, but it’s been something ironically fun baseball. I don’t quite understand that mind shift for me with the struggles / aggravation in the bullpen, but seeing the young guys come up and have some success just makes me - well want more! Thanks for keeping me entertained, informed, and enlightened while I spend my time on the rowing machine!! 😂
