Here's an imperfect but telling look at Logan Webb's season:
6 IP, 5 H
8 IP, 4 H
3.2 IP, 6 H
6.2 IP, 7 H
6 IP, 11 H
5 IP, 8 H
Total: 35.1 IP, 41 H
Not all hits are created equal, but no pitcher in baseball has allowed more of them than Logan Webb. The ever-positive Gabe Kapler even said Webb "hasn't felt quite at his best." What does this mean? Only he knows.
Speaking of hits, the Giants only got one with a runner in scoring position. They scored 13. Go figure.

What I’m reading
• Turns out rich and famous people eat just like us—until they don’t. These are the most important and memorable meals of this era of Warriors basketball.
• How do DoorDash orders get to rural Alaska? On a plane, of course.
• An annotated version of the opinion overturning Roe v. Wade adds helpful context and analysis to the leaked document.
What I’m eating
• The “sexiest cheese in America” at Tria wine bar in Philadelphia. No, it’s not American.
• Southern Thai fried chicken, at Thai Noodle Bar. It’s as good as it looks.
• My favorite hole-in-the-wall Mexican joint, El Burrito Box. Their rich, tomato-y salsa is top-notch.
