Don't look at the standings in June.

Did you see this coming? I did not. I did not envision the Giants sweeping the Dodgers.

I did not imagine Walker Buehler, Clayton Kershaw, and Julio Urías all taking losses. Or the Giants allowing four runs all weekend. Or the bullpen yielding one run in 16 innings. Or holding the Dodgers to two hits in 24 at-bars with runners in scoring position.

What a bizarre series. I only wonder how we'll look back on it. A complete anomaly for the Dodgers en route to another 100-win season? Or a turning point for the Giants with 103 games to go?
