We know Farhan Zaidi likes to play the lottery.

He's on a first-name basis at 7-11, buying and buying tickets with the conviction of someone who knows he'll win eventually if keeps buying tickets.

Maybe Ford Proctor and Michael Papierski didn't work out, but it appears Zaidi has a winning ticket.

He homered again Sunday, lifting his average to .329 and OPS to .916. He's the club’s only backup shortstop. He might just be the team's only All-Star.
