The Giants and Padres lit up Mexico City.

Home runs carried through the thin air, 7,350 feet above sea level. Ground balls streaked through the unusually hard infield.

Late leads were blown. Comebacks were had.

And the

Giants were on the wrong side of both games.

It's hard to know how to feel—the games almost felt like exhibitions. The weekend was a great one for the sport and a crummy one for the Giants.

The high elevation made for a horrible pitching environment—Coors Field on steroids—but the bullpen stood as the difference between 2-0 and 0-2.

A five-game winning streak has given way to a three-game losing streak.
