Mike Yazstreziemskie | Giants 6, A's 4
Mike Yastrzemski was the first symbol of hope in the Farhan Era. For the price of a Triple-A pitcher, he arrived from the Orioles in 2019 and immediately produced.
He hit 21 home runs as a rookie, then posted a .968 OPS in 2020. He became the poster boy of the No Move Too Small movement.
Yaz came back down to Earth last year, where he remains. But if only for a day, he was the center of the Giants' lineup again. He homered twice and enabled the team to say two words they've hardly said all summer: winning streak.
