The Giants are at equilibrium. They're 25-25.

Michael Conforto is on the moon. He's hit seven home runs in his last 14 games, including a 424-foot shot in Thursday's 5-0 win.

This is the kind of stretch Farhan Zaidi dreamed of when he handed Conforto a $36 million contract last winter. It's the kind of stretch Larry Baer envisioned when he delivered his infamous "light bulb" quote.

It's the kind of stretch that's not sustainable—but is absolutely coming at the right time.

The Giants offense has been lagging in May. They've been bailed out by a pitching staff with the fourth best ERA this month. And they've been bailed out by Michael Conforto every-other-day home run pace.

Surely he’ll keep it up.
