The last two Giants games I’ve been to have been spectacular.
On April 25, Blake Sabol blasted a walk-off home run when he was down to his last strike.
Monday night, Mike Yastrzemski splashed a walk-off into McCovey Cove one inning after the Giants scored twice to tie it up.
Both games were equally memorable. They were not equally shared.
That April game was one of the least attended games in the history of Oracle Park. On Monday, more than 35,000 packed into the stadium.
It was the sixth largest crowd of the year, and it came on a Monday night. To see a rookie-fueled team win its eighth straight.
The Giants are rolling now—and worth the price of admission.
