Brandon Belt’s Giants career—and maybe his entire career—is likely over. Knee surgery ended his season a few weeks ago.

He stopped by the booth on Wednesday to say good bye—even if it sounded more like "see you in February, I hope."

In the most successful era in Giants history, no player proved more divisive among fans than Belt. But he had as much to do with the 2012 and 2014 titles as anyone.

A plaque with his name will live on the Wall of Fame someday. He’ll be missed.
