For so much of this season, it seemed Joey Bart was just hoping to make contact with the ball.

The challenge was so great for Bart it got him demoted to Triple A.

He's since returned, and games like Monday's make you think he can handpick where he wants the ball to go.

One rocketed down the left field line to score two. Another tapped off the third base bag to punctuate a perfect bunt. Another landed in right field for a double.

Bart's now batting .333 across his last 17 games. For now, he's found himself. And the ball.
