The view atop Dodger Stadium is stunning. You're surrounded by the San Gabriel Mountains, with snowcaps off in the distance. The palm trees sway. The weather is ideal.
As far as baseball stadiums go, it's a one-of-one experience.
That's about all the nice things I have to say.
Dodger Stadium has been, and will continue to be, the Giants' house of horrors. It's going to be a long decade facing Mookie Betts, Shohei Ohtani, and Freddie Freeman.
As Duane Kuiper said, speaking for every Giants fan at Chavez Ravine last night: "I’ve been in this ballpark now for two hours, and I’m about ready to throw up.”
At least the view is nice.
Up next: Logan Webb (0-0, 3.00 ERA) will try to slay the dragon tonight. Instead of starting Tyler Glasnow on normal rest, the Dodgers are going with a bullpen game. First pitch at 7:10 p.m.
