Are You Not Entertained? | Giants 2, Diamondbacks 1
With the Giants down to their last strike, home plate umpire Cory Blazer took a step back after pitch No. 4 zipped by Thairo Estrada.
Blazer started to ring up Estrada and end the game. Then he stopped. It was the umpire equivalent of a balk. He gifted the Giants an extra moment of life. They didn't waste it.
Estrada whacked the next pitch off the right field wall for a triple.
Two pitches later the Giants were dogpiling Brandon Crawford on home plate.
As a baseball fan, all you can ask for is to be entertained. Job well done.
